Promise, 4
Recruitment on Hold
FALLing for Promise! Imagine a perfect fall day while the leaves are changing colors and beginning to gather on the ground, the temperature is 70 degrees with the sun shining, there is a yummy crockpot meal about to be served, and you get to spend the entire day with Promise! Promise is a 4-year-old girl with a sweet, loving, and fun personality. She doesn’t always love to share toys but loves playing alongside other kids at daycare. Promise has always battled complex medical conditions, however, that has not stopped her from crawling around the living room with her arms, pulling herself up on the couch, and spinning in her favorite chair. Promise is not able to verbally show affection, but gives hugs and cuddles, especially if she is upset or uncomfortable in her back or foot braces. Promise is looking for a family that will be dedicated and patient to her needs as she ages. Promise’s team is looking for a one or two-parent-household. It is important that Promise is the youth with the highest needs in the home or is the only child. There are no concerns regarding animals in the home, although her forever family will need to teach her boundaries and how to properly play with animals. It is vital for her forever family to be dedicated and willing to advocate for her needs as she continues to age. Promise’s team is recruiting for families in the Midwest, although would consider a family nationwide if it is the right fit for Promise.
