GSV Intake and Case Support Specialist, Fargo

Job description:
Catholic Charities North Dakota, a nonprofit organization serving the entire state of North Dakota, is seeking applicants for a full-time position as an Intake and Case Support Specialist in our GSV (Guardianship Services for the Vulnerable) Program.

Position Summary
The Guardianship Services Intake/Case Support Specialist provides administrative, financial, and client support for Catholic Charities North Dakota’s Guardianship Services Program. This position serves as a primary point of contact for new referrals and ongoing client support while assisting guardians and case managers with financial oversight, benefits management, recordkeeping, and program operations. The Specialist helps ensure clients receive timely and effective services while supporting the overall efficiency of the program.

Individuals applying should possess the following qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree in, Business, Accounting, or Human Services or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience in human services, healthcare, financial administration, social services, or nonprofit programs preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, community partners, and staff.
  • Knowledge of public benefit programs and community resources preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic recordkeeping systems.
  • QuickBooks – Accounting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to Catholic Charities North Dakota’s mission and values.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.
  • Occasional lifting of files and office materials up to 25 pounds.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally as needed
  • Applicants must be able to pass a background check and possess a valid drivers license.
