Maliki, 14

Meet Maliki! Does your family enjoy fishing, camping, and spending the summer doing outside activities together? If so, 14-year-old Maliki would be a perfect fit! Maliki loves the summer season as he enjoys going fishing and having competitions to catch the biggest Walleye. Maliki would especially enjoy having a family that would take him camping to play games, ride his bike, and roast marshmallows over the campfire. If Maliki has to spend the day inside, he likes to watch movies, play games on his iPad such as Roblox, and spend time with his friends or family by playing board games or card games. Maliki can be described as outgoing, funny, kind, and empathetic. It is important for Maliki to feel safe and cared for in order to make strong connections with the adults and peers in his life. Maliki enjoys making people happy by telling jokes to make them laugh or giving them compliments. He does not like to disappoint anyone and does best when rules and expectations are clearly explained to him. Maliki’s team is looking for a two-parent household and would prefer for Maliki to be the only child in the home, or the youngest child with the highest needs. Maliki enjoys being around animals, however, it will be important for his family to teach him boundaries and how to be safe with animals. Maliki thrives with consistent schedules and routines. Maliki’s team is recruiting for families nationwide, although it is important for him to maintain family connections in North Dakota.
