Zoo Boo in Bismarck

A few weeks ago our Bismarck office participated in the Zoo Boo event at the Dakota Zoo. This is a family event that provides a safe, supervised, and enjoyable environment for kids to trick-or-treat from area businesses and see all the zoo critters! Sara Pachl, guardianship support staff, dressed up as a bumble bee and Josh Schlichenmayer, a guardianship worker, dressed up as a “hillbilly” to pass out candy to the excited kids! Also in attendance was our guardianship worker Whitney Rath- Wald who didn’t make it into any of the pictures but made sure that the kids all received candy and CCND stickers. It was a warm, Saturday afternoon at the Zoo and around 3,000 parents and children came through. It is a great event that the Bismarck office has participated in for the last couple of years.¬†Besides being able to pass out candy to all the eager children, they are able to set up a booth with information on the services offered across the state at our Catholic Charities North Dakota offices.
