The WWK Recruiter’s primary function is to find an appropriate, permanent and loving adoptive family for children waiting in the foster care system. AASK Adoption Specialist

Responsibilities include completing child assessments and engaging in adoption preparation activities, conducting thorough assessments on families adopting from foster care, and assisting in general recruitment activities for children with no identified adoptive home. Position requires a ND Social Work License and experience working with children and families. Some travel required. AASK Social Work Supervisor

The AASK Supervisor provides supervision to AASK Workers in the assigned region, takes an active role in the development and provision of program services. Qualifications include a ND LCSW licensure and two years experience in supervision of child placement workers or in child placement, or a Master’s Degree in a human service–related field from an accredited school and a minimum of two years of experience in supervision of child placement workers or in child placement. This position is based from any location in North Dakota and requires regular travel to Bismarck, ND for staff support. Guardianship Worker

Catholic Charities North Dakota, a nonprofit organization serving the entire state of North Dakota, is seeking applicants for a full-time position as a Guardianship Worker for vulnerable elderly persons, people who struggle with mental health issues and others in North Central/Eastern areas of ND. This is a remote, work from home position. Travel required within a 150 mile radius, visiting assigned caseload one or more times each month. Individuals applying should possess the following qualifications: Excellent oral/written communications skills and especially articulate on issues related to the needs of the elderly, mental health issues, advocacy and guardianship. LBSW or a 4 year degree related to human services preferred with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an interdisciplinary team member or case manager. The AASK Post Adopt Coordinator represents Catholic Charities North Dakota by upholding the Agency’s goals, philosophy/mission and according to AASK policy in a professional and ethical manner. The position provides post adoption services to adoptive families and to families who provide guardianship to a child in their home. This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, MSW preferred, social work license in the state of North Dakota and experience with families in the human service field, child welfare system, and adoption.
