This winter Catholic Charities is hosting Christmas lights displays again through the Sertoma Clubs in Fargo and Minot. In Fargo, the display is at Lindenwood Park between the MSUM and Trollwood displays, and will be open each night in December. Admission in Fargo is $6 per car, or $5 with a canned food item. In Minot, the display is at Oak Park beginning after Thanksgiving on Friday, November 24, and lasting through December 31. Minot hours are from 6-10pm every evening, and the cost is $5 per vehicle.
Along with being a fun holiday tradition, these events are another way to help out with good causes. Last year the Minot display was closed several days due to the very poor weather and still had more than 4,000 cars attend, while the Fargo lights display raised over $50,000 that was donated to help people with speech and hearing problems, and to other community projects. Thanks for your support, and look for our displays when you drive through the parks!
