On May 11, 2021 Catholic Charities North Dakota will be presenting Marci Loomis with the Caritas Award at a luncheon held at Spirit of Life Church in Mandan, ND. Marci is receiving the Caritas Award for her service to the poor and bringing hope back to the lives of individuals.
Marci has been an active member of the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit’s Society of St. Vincent de Paul Conference since its inception in 2014. She served as the conference’s first president for two terms and is now the acting treasurer. The mission of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is: to join together in a bond of friendship, and to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering.
Through her work with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Conference, Marci has been able to assist local Bismarck families with necessities of life such as rent, clothing, utilities, and food. In addition to her charitable work, Marci has a full time job as an administrative assistant at Dakota Eye Institute and is part-time office help at I-Keating Furniture World. Please join us in honoring Marci for her amazing service to the Bismarck and Mandan community.
