DIRECTOR OF GUARDIANSHIP SERVICES FOR THE VULNERABLE
Catholic Charities North Dakota, a nonprofit organization serving the entire state of North Dakota, is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Director of Guardianship Services for the Vulnerable. Catholic Charities ND is expanding its guardianship services to meet the needs of vulnerable elderly persons, people who struggle with mental health issues, and others. The position will be located in our Fargo office. The service area is the Fargo and Devils Lake regions. Travel is required. Individuals applying should possess the following qualifications: proven skills in administration (updating policies, managing a program budget, assuring program meets accreditation standards, overseeing representative payee and conservatorship services for our wards, etc.), supervision of staff; excellent oral/written communications skills, and especially articulate on issues related to the needs of the elderly, mental health issues, advocacy, and guardianship. The position requires a master’s degree in social work or related to human services plus 2 years of experience in or connected to guardianship; OR a LBSW/4 year degree related to human services with a minimum of 4 years of experience in or connected to guardianship. Catholic Charities North Dakota is seeking a full time Adoption Worker in the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program contracted through the AASK (Adults Adoption Special Kids) program for their Bismarck office. This position will serve children primarily living in the western North Dakota and focus on recruiting permanent homes for children. Position requires a ND Social Work License and experience working with children and families. Travel required.
