Pregnant?

We can help you make decisions you can live with.

If you're pregnant and it's causing problems, we're here for you. A lot of people will tell you what they think you should do. You're probably feeling confused and afraid. Knowing that the final decisions are up to you only adds to the pressure.

How will you tell your parents? What about the father? Should you consider parenting? Adoption? these are hard questions that you may need help to answer.

Catholic Charities North Dakota can help you.....

▷    arrange for a pregnancy test and health care. Early medical care during pregnancy is important for you and your baby's health. If you aren't already seeing a doctor, your social worker can help you find one.

▷    get in touch with agencies and people who can help you. Your social worker can help you get the additional services you may need, such as food assistance, clothing, housing, finances and medical care.

▷    make arrangements to finish school or receive job skills training. Whether you choose to parent your child or make an adoption plan, finishing school and/or learning job  skills are very important for your future.

▷    provide individual or joint counseling for yourself and the father of your baby, as well as extended family members.
